If you're going to be in the car for several hours and you have children watching DVD's you sure don't want the battery to loose power. Have a power converter with you so you can make the whole trip and allow the battery to recharge while they're busy with something else.

I ran all around town trying to find a replacement for power cord for my portable dvd and couldn't find it. Salesman suggested a very expensive adapter,I was thrilled when I found this one on-line at such a low cost. It will make traveling with grandkids a breeze.
