Comments about Dell Inspiron Mini 9 White Netbook 1GB XP Home:

I really love this Dell Mini 9 Netbook/Notebook computer. I use it everyday and everywhere. With a Verizon broadband card, I'm always online, even when I'm out having lunch, dinner or whatever. All the software I use run on it and with the RAM upgraded to 2GB, It doesn't slow down even when I have 10 tabbed windows in FireFox, and Word, Excel, skype, yahoo messenger, and McAfee AV all active and running. There's a little lag when I'm streaming video (i.e. CNBC) and running all othe applications mentioned. The lag is tolerable and not a big deal. By the way, I love this little machine so much, this particular one I bought from recoupit.com is a SPARE! I have one that I bought a year ago and it's the one I use everyday and it's took some beating from me (dropped a few times) but it keeps on ticking and runs very fast for my applications.

I recently bought my mini notebook - Dell 910 Notebook. It started out as [$] on a credit plan to which I said NO WAY. 1/2 Cash. Too Much so I held out for less. $$$ Cash includes sales tax. SOLD! After buying it I set it aside for a month. Just got around to using it last week at a huge convention in Yakima. It was AMAZING and I had several people who wanted to buy it off of me on the spot! I am so glad I waited and held out for such a great deal! I would recommend this to anyone!!!

Comments about Dell Inspiron Mini 9 White Netbook 1GB XP Home:

I primarily use this product to keep track of addresses, important documents, and schedules. Had planned to use it for much more, but not enough memory and difficulty finding internet connections everywhere.
So far I have been semi-happy with this product, but I am very concerned because upon set up of this unit the service tag number that is installed into the computer is not the same as the service tag number that is on the sticker on the computer itself. I have only had this computer for a short time and it is already running slow. I feel that is due to the lack of memory for this specific unit. I also have tried several times to get internet service while out and about with this computer and have found it impossible to find service with. I was expecting alot more out of this unit as this is my fourth or fifth Dell unit and I have always been so impressed with their systems. Ad says stay connected with the world virtually everywhere..........NOT........I haven't been able to connect with the world or even my email anywhere. Makes for a nice planner, but not much more than that.

Woke up from EEE 701SD nightmare

Comments about Dell Inspiron Mini 9 White Netbook 1GB XP Home:

I use it at work.
-It's almost as portable as my Dell X51v PDA.
-The speakers are too quiet, with zero low range. The Asus EEE701SD I'm upgrading from has the better speakers.

That's it. The only things it needs is Infrared to communicate with my PDA and better speakers.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was excellent. Arrived before scheduled time (rare these days). Product was in new condition.

I am a college student and this is just easier to carry with my books. The Wi Fi is a breeze to log on to the college WI Fi network. Two thumbs up!
