I also have the 15 inch version for my Latitude D620. Perfect case but will need to remove protective guard to fit 17.3 model Studio 1745 so I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

This is my second Dell case. I have the smaller one for my Latitude D620 which I love. I now own the Studio 17 which doesn't fit into this case. REMOVE the protective lining; it does come out, and it fits perfectly. My wifes Inspiron 1721 will fit this case with the lining in. Great buy, and super price. Gave it 4 stars because my Studio 17 doesn't fit properly.
