This camera is a wonderful gift for people who just want to point and click to get a good picture.
I did not give a 5 star because it is not a great camera just a very good camera.
I got this camera for my wife who loves to take pictures but hates my camera because of " being complicated". The screen for viewing is very good and has very clear resolution. The controls for the different types of shots is easy to maneuver.
If there is a negative it will be with the battery life. Being a small camera there is not very much room for a battery.
If you want just a camera to take quick photos and not have a "complicated camera" this is the camera for you.

Bought this for a trip to South America. Good camera, and if it had gotten stolen- a real possibility- it would not have been like losing an expensive camera.
